BIOGRAPHY

Actuary turned actor-comedian because it's easier than explaining what an actuary is, Myriam has always loved making the people around her laugh. After years of performing improv around Chicago, she expanded into standup and fell in love with acting. Having been born to Lebanese parents and raised on the island of Cyprus, she takes advantage of her fluency in four languages in both her acting and voiceover work. Meanwhile, her comedy draws from all her cultural overlaps, previous corporate life and hurdles as a woman.

At any given time, you can find Myriam performing standup or improv at one of Chicago's many comedy clubs (of note: Second City, Stage 773, Under the Gun, The Playground). She splits her improv time playing with two troupes – the coed Rob Job, and Valid Hysteria, one of Chicago’s most established all female troupes.

When she is not on stage or writing, Myriam is constantly working her on camera acting skills, whether it is through classes or shooting films.  She will also tackle being on both sides of the camera soon, as she has begun writing several projects she will produce with an anticipated shoot date of late 2017.
